Splash a bit more cash (£2,101, to be precise) on the range-topping Street Triple 765 RS and your £9,900 gets you Triumph’s 765cc three-cylinder motor, which makes a claimed 123hp and 57lb/ft torque. We stuck the RS on the dyno at Steve Jordan Motorcycles in Bookham and it made 121.48hp at 12,153rpm and 55.57lb/ft at 9,666rpm.
That heart consists of a relatively heavily revised powerplant that produces a claimed seven horsepower up on the last Street Triple to get revised in 2020. The RS leads the way with a claimed 128 hp at 12,000 rpm, with the base model R producing a claimed 118 hp at 11,500 rpm. Both bikes have a claimed 59 lb-ft of torque, taken at 9500 rpm.

The Matt Carbon Black paint scheme features on the tank, front mudguard, fly screen, side panels, rear bodywork, seat cowl and radiator
For street use, the power of a Trident, Street Triple 765, and Speed Triple 1200 are all a lot of power on public roads and will easily run 100MPH. Whether you want to do that on a naked motorcycle is a different story. For me, the broad torque curve at normal urban speeds is attractive.
The 675cc, 12-valve three-cylinder motor is unchanged from the standard Triumph Street Triple, with peak output staying at a healthy 107bhp at 11,700rpm.This is 16 ponies less than theTriumph
Triumph has announced its 2023 range of motorcycles and each model gets a new color option, with the exception of the models that were all-new for this past year ( Tiger 1200 family, Tiger Sport 660 and Speed Triple 1200 RR). And starting with model-year 2023, the Street Twin is re-named the Speed Twin 900, and the Street Scrambler is re-named
The electronics on a street triple aren’t as refined as the new XSR, but I think the chassis and suspension are far superior on the ST. Looks wise, I much prefer the older XSR. Power delivery wise, the XSR will have a much gruntier engine; more torque down low and peak hp can be accessed lower in the rev range.
New Triumph Street Triple R vs Street Triple RS: Specs Both Triumph Street Triple R and RS make use of the same 765 cc triple-cylinder engine but in different states of tune. The Street Triple R has 116 bhp and 79 Nm on tap while Street Triple RS has 121 bhp and 79 Nm on offer.
The Engine. Now Euro 5 compliant, the 2020 Triumph Street Triple produces 123PS (121 BHP) at 11,500 RPM, along with 79Nm of torque at 9,350RPM. Weighing only 166Kg dry, and with that amount of power, a more straightforward way of explaining the power and torque is to simply say, “Damn, that’s quick.”. Statistically, the 2020 Triumph
